Americans for Pharma Reform to Kick Off First-Of-Its-KindNationwide Bust Big Pharma Bus Tour August 31 in Arizona
CHANDLER, AZ – In response to drastically rising prescription and pharmaceutical drug costs that are plaguing the country, Americans for Pharma Reform is launching a first ever, nationwide Big Pharma Bus Tour, beginning August 31, 2024, in Chandler, AZ.
Americans for Pharma Reform is a group of concerned Americans determined to address the detrimental impact of Big Pharma’s practices. According to the organization’s Executive Director, Rob Burgess, “Massive corporations have monopolized the market, priced prescriptions to benefit profits rather than patients, and completely ignored the free-market principles that let them thrive in the first place. We do not believe reforming Big Pharma is punishing success but ensuring that success does not come at the expense of competition, fairness, and the American consumer. As in all businesses, they should focus on competing in a truly free market where competition thrives, innovation is rewarded, and consumers are protected from exploitation.”
Over the next eight weeks, Americans for Pharma Reform’s Bust Big Pharma Bus Tour plans on traveling throughout Arizona, Montana, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania to drive awareness and importance of Pharma Reform. The bus will be wrapped with an eye-catching design to draw patients in so they can learn more. The bus will stop at 55+ communities, retirement homes, grocery stores, and large-scale public events, including sporting events). There will also be free giveaways.
The Arizona Tour will include the following stops:
- Sunday, September 1, 1:10 – 2:45 PM: Tailgate at the Arizona Diamondbacks baseball game
- Sunday, September 1, 5:00 PM: Attend the Coconino County Fair in Flagstaff, Arizona
- Monday, September 2, 12:30 PM: Attend the Arizona GOP Women Luncheon in Kingman, Arizona
